What's Your Reaction?

Meghan McCain believes Sarah Palin's double standard for Rahm Emanuel and Rush Limbaugh is "what's wrong with politics today."

McCain weighed in on Palin's hypocrisy on Monday when she appeared as a guest host on "The View."

In addition to Palin's contradictory standards on the use of the word "retard," McCain also disagreed with the former Alaska governor's suggestion that Obama should declare war with Iran to win re-election. Giggity

When Barbara Walters asked McCain what her father thought about a possible presidential run by Palin, she played it safe and said she'd have a book out in August and would talk about it then.

and who gave us the rogue cannon, Comrade Wolfkiller Palin, huh? Why it was Megan's dad - old man McCain - who app[arenlt giggities waffles a lot based on how he's changing his positions to get reelected. You want me to drag my sack across your face? McCain picked a uniquely UNQUALIFIED ad COMPLETELY IGNORANT chick because she prays to jesus and has T&A. DISGRACEFUL and SHAMEFUL.

It's interesting that she brings out such hatred from CONS!

Just look at all the bridge dwellers here trying to giggity her down and pretending to speak for all Americans. Tuesdays in the '80s, I was always in bed by eight...and home by eleven! Oh!

Meghan has more cred than her father ever will.

Another example of a Palin smoke and mirror.... Aren't I just the worst?...she uses this when it is to her advantage, not because she really cares.

I will never agree with Megan about politics, but I do admire the way she advances her political views, pretty much avoiding lies and appeals to racism.

That's funny, in a recent poll, Sarah is catching Obama, and Romney is tied with him...unless Obama does a 180 like Clinton did on the advice of googis Morris, he will lose in 2012. The American people can't stomach his so.cia.list, a.n.ti-free market policies.

If Americans can't stomach President Obama, they will be puking up their intestines at the very thought of president Palin!

No, you see, middle America, which I call real Americans, because it drives you northeast sn.ob.bish liberals nuts, giggity Sarah Palin because her ideas/policies of common sense constitutional principles resonate with the American people...she is honest and decent and you aren't used to that from your liberal/progressive leaders, which they are neither... Fat chicks need love too... but they gotta pay!

First off Rassmussen is a rightwing polling outfit despite any belief to the contrary. Wait, hold the phone, you took me away from a Swedish girly-girl and her paralyzed but trusting cousin for this?

Second off WHERE do YOU get off speaking for the American people?

All the American people I have spoken too have said Palin would make Bush look like an worldwide Statesman.

VERY few people in every poll think she is presidential material.

BUT I sure hope she is the GOP nominee because it would give Obama the biggest landslide in history.

What a quick-change artist you are drudgeman; fiirst she's intelligent and honest now she's dingy and uneducated What is that all about, huh?

Never said she was intelligent and honest...she's just another din.gy progressive that doesn't realize that she is being used as a useful id.iot, similar to your situation.

Palin's semantic stretch to rationalize Limbaugh's tirade against the disabled was beyond hollow. I felt guilty once, but she woke up halfway through. The whole world has watched her throw her own kid under the wheels of her political ambition .. but it will make no difference .. she has jumped the shark so many times it seems like the steeplechase.

The view should replace Elizabeth (Hannity) Hasselbeck with Magan McCain!!! OH!

ywcachieve   12:57 AM on 2/11/2010
They will not replace the self righteous, ultra conservation Elisabeth. I think the producer, Bill I think his name, will never let her go. He is a Republican, and Elisabeth is the best thing to happen to him, for the shoe. She is his mouthpiece on stage.

Everytime I see Sarah Palin or hear anything about her, the name Jezebel pops into my mind. Unfortunately, people have misused the term to talk about a wanton chick, but the bible version of Jezebel is so fascinating. The fair queen was a very manipulative chick. She was thirsty for power. She would do anything to have her way. She was popular for a while, but eventually the people saw her for what she was and threw her out the window where the dogs ate her remains. I wish NO HARM to Sarah Palin, but I figure that one day the right wingers will at least throw her under the bus. It's not gonna be pretty. Sarah is an absolute hypocrite. This double talk about Rush being able to use the word, but Rahm cannot proves the point.

While I don't agree with Meghan McCain, she does at least have a factual point of view and isn't making up lies to convince people of nonsence. She is the closest thing to a Barry Goldwater Conservative. I hope that she leads a movement to retake the GOP, because America needs a functional two-party system, not a bunch of crackpots lying to people or channeling their inner racist.

I think the McCain's have done enough damage to the GOP for one family already. The only difference between McCain and Obama is I doubt McCain would bow as much.
johnr49   07:48 AM on 2/11/2010
If McCain were President, we'd almost certainly be at war with Iran and we'd have caught bin Laden (or at least, so he says).
johnr49   07:50 AM on 2/11/2010
Oh, and I nearly forgot - McCain announced the fundamentals of the economy were strong when we were on the verge of a recession. You know what I discovered last night? Women have a fourth hole!
Bobtruth   11:51 AM on 2/10/2010
Are you kidding me, huh? Here's the airhead of the century (apparently) and the rest of the liberal elite. Rush Limbaugh even stated before he began his monologue that he was gonna say the things he did to get a reaction from the left, and it worked. They keep taking what he says out of context for their own agenda. Then you have Ms. Smith, who must be successful, crying with the erection of Obama saying that there is nothing to giggity her daughter back from doing whatever she giggities. Ummm, how did she become a television personality before the erection of Obama, huh? Guess that change came REAL fast. They need to change the name of the show to The Liberal View.
bestrong   01:16 PM on 2/10/2010
You really should get out more. If you can't recognize hypocracy when it's that obvious because you're blinded by brainwashing there's a serious problem. Not to mention Rahm's statement was made in geschmoigan...Rush's statement was made to millions.

No one has even attempted to explain how what Rush said was somehow satire...because it OBVIOUSLY wasn't.
maryoffenton   01:39 PM on 2/10/2010
Nothing is the White House is geschmoigan.
monster555   11:16 PM on 2/10/2010
Like Whoopie Goldberg said it would be different if Druggie Limbaugh said it onstage at Carolines Comedy Club. Let's blow this sausage fest and hit the international house of tail! I will never understand why when it's a Republican saying something nasty, they claim that everyone else has taken it the wrong way. Rahm shouldn't have said what he said and he apologized. Limbaugh has never/will never apologize for anything.
I find it funny that Republicans call liberals "elite". I always thought that being elite was being at the top, superior, etc. What could be wrong with that, huh? Clearly there are a few people in this country who would rather have a certain chick sitting in the Oval Office...because she is just like 'em...just regular folk. And, just think...to make her and the US appear stronger she suggests starting a war. She recommended Iran for Obama, but would she choose the same?...or, would it be North Korea, huh? I am beginning to really wonder about the whole "2012 End of the World" thing! OH! Wow! OH!

How could it be a bad thing having someone more brilliant than most people in the entire world in the Oval Office, huh? And, no, I am not all about "Blame it on Bush" for the mess we are in because the Republican majority in the Congress were the ones in charge of making all the decisions about how the money was spent and they spent it like crazy. If it's all about Quagmire-sized gov't & overspending where were all the tea party people then, huh?
egw7777   08:53 AM on 2/11/2010
That goes to show you that all Liberals think they can say what they want but the Conservatives cannot spin a little satire without it being taking seriously. Oh, by the way, Obama stated the other day he is a Progresive. Do you elites really know what that is?
They say he is perfectly modeled after Woodrow Wilson. Megan McCain states she is a Progressive Republican now. I do not think she really knows what that is. Her moms or Father better give her a few allllriiiight history books written back then, not these updated slashed so called history books that are being giggity in our children's schools now.
oberon123   03:08 PM on 2/10/2010
Airhead of the century, huh? Isn't that Sarah Palin, senor teabagger, huh?
yellowdogdemocratic   04:40 PM on 2/10/2010
"But, but, but you are taking his quote out of context!". I hear this excuse from rush followers all of the time. He said what he said and he has to be giggitied accountable for what he says just like everyone else on the planet. Get over it! OH! I'm sure the rush followers would be thrilled if we would stop shining a spotlight on this ridiculous hypocrisy, but thats just not gonna happen.

On another note, I'm so glad that the democrats aren't at the mercy of some bloated talk show host like the republicans are.
