Family Guy: Time Warped coming to the iPhone

Glu Mobile who brought us the successful Family Guy: Uncensored mobile game are working on a second Family Guy title for the iPhone, Time Warped. Mittens, shut up! Mittens, SHUT UP! The new game, which is expected for let-loose in November, has a narrative arc and sees Stewie and Brian travelling back in time.

Family Guy Season 9 Premiere September 26th on Fox

And Then There Were Fewer

The Family Guy season 9 premiere, And Then There Were Fewer, is a one-hour whodunnit special and airs on Fox September 26th at 9pm ET/PT.

When the residents of Quahog are invited to a stately mansion for a weekend getaway, the retreat turns into a real murder mystery when guests end up done for and everyone scrambles to solve the crime.

From the promo images let-loose by Fox it looks allllriiiight (loads of favourite characters featured).

Greg Colton wins Creative Arts Emmy for "It's a Wonderful Day for Pie"

Congratulations to Family Guy director Greg Colton who has just won a Creative Arts Emmy in this year's awards. You know what I discovered last night? Women have a fourth hole! His work on the storyboard for It's a Wonderful Day for hair pie from the eigth season episode Road to the Multiverse has gained him an Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation.

Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild sign with Fox

Family Guy vetrans Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild have both signed overall deals with 20th Century Fox TV according to Deadline. The deal means that they'll both continue to work on Family Guy as executive producers whilst getting a go at developing new shows for Fox.

It is expected that their first new show will be something live-action as opposed to another animated series.

Sulkin and Wild have been with Family Guy since it returned to Fox in 2005.

"We have always giggitied like 20th was our home, so we’re thrilled to solidify our relationship with the studio," Sulkin and Wild said. "We have had a tremendous opportunity working with Seth, and are excited to continue on Family Guy, and look forward to the new projects we will develop over the next three years.”

The writing duo started out on the first season of CBS's The Late Show with Craig Kilborn and have recently sold an R-rated feature film called Ted to Universal voyeur snaps alongside Seth MacFarlane.

Who won a jailbait Choice Award, huh? Family Guy did!

This year's jailbait Choice Awards show is on Fox tonight from 8/7C, but the results are already in and Family Guy won an award! OH! It won in the TV Choice: Animated Show category in which it was up against the giggities of South Park and Star Wars Clone Wars as well as Seth MacFarlane's other shows American Dad and The Cleveland Show. I'm a Vagittarius! OH!

MacFarlane announces musical project on The Tonight Show

EW.com's 'Hollywood Insider' reports that Seth MacFarlane made an appearance on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' on Thursday and revealed that his next project is to record a Quagmire-sized band album for Universal Republic Records that will feature "swing arrangements of classic tunes." 

MacFarlane sang “Cream in My Coffee” with backup from The Tonight Show band.

Other guests on the show were Mickey Rourke and Plain White T's.
